This model of professional learning was recognized as New York State’s representative for collaborative professional learning and was awarded “Most Classroom Focused” at the National Learning Forward Conference in Chicago, IL.

Interested in joining our team?

MHA is growing! We will be accepting our largest 9th grade class in school history and simultaneously working to reduce class sizes to 25 students. There is a wait list for students to attend, but all students are encouraged to apply directly to Mr. Chu at Dchu4@schools.nyc.gov.

New and experienced staff are welcome to apply to MHA at any time. We will be hiring new staff members in all subject areas for the 27-28 school year.

  • ELA

  • Social Studies

  • Math

  • Science

  • Physical Education/Health

  • Music

  • Various Arts Certifications

  • Computer Science

  • Staff members with a Computer Science/Cybersecurity or Business/Marketing background are strongly encouraged to apply! We have a growing Cybersecurity and Virtual Enterprise program and looking for experienced and passionate staff members with experience in either field.
