In this brief 5 minute highlight video, ReDesign shines a spotlight on Murray Hill Academy for their proven Distributive Leadership model of success and Lesson Inquiry professional development, adapted from Japan’s research based lesson study. This model of professional learning was recognized as New York State’s representative for collaborative professional learning and was awarded “Most Classroom Focused” at the National Learning Forward Conference in Chicago, IL.

MHA is growing! We will be accepting our largest 9th grade class in school history and simultaneously working to reduce class sizes to 25 students. There is a wait list for students to attend, but all students are encouraged to apply directly to Mr. Chu, our AP, at Dchu4@schools.nyc.gov.

New and experienced staff are welcome to apply to MHA at any time. We will be considering hiring new staff members DURING the 25-26 school year AND plan to hire new teachers in all subject areas for the 26-27 school year.
