Nine leaders from the University of Free State in South Africa came to visit Murray Hill Academy as a joint effort with Murray Hill Academy's Global Programs and New York University's Global Programs.

The nine students from University of Free State came to New York City to study diversity and race relations in the United States and found their visit at a New York Public school to be very informative and a great educational experience.  They visited classrooms, presented a presentation on apartheid to the Junior Class of Murray Hill and participated in a Q&A Session with our students about race relations, apartheid, and challenges getting to college.
